"In the first week of January Charlie's CMMC Buckeyes hockey team flew to Halifax
to play in the City of Lakes tournament. They didn't win many games, but played with
intensity and had fun. Between games they did a lot of sight-seeing, visiting the famous
lighthouse at Peggy's Cove, the Pier 21 Immigration Museum, Government House, and
the Citadel. One highlight of their trip was to get a guided tour of the H.M.C.S. Sackville,
a WW2 naval corvette (small warship). They also attended a Halifax Mooseheads hockey
game, the CHL junior team that Nathan MacKinnon played on before being drafted by
the Colorado Avalanche of the NHL. These are some of the pictures taken on that trip."
