"On Friday of the Louis Riel Day long weekend, Cory and James took the day off work/school and
went to their cabin to go ice-fishing together...as promised to James as one of his birthday "gifts"!
That evening, Sharla, Will and Charlie surprised Dad by going to his apartment and sharing their
supper with him. Sharla and Dad had long talks about life while Will and Charlie played 'trucks'!"
"That night, Sharla took Will to his lacrosse practice and Charlie to watch his friend Ryan play
hockey, before she went to play hockey with some of her lady friends. After Sharla and Charlie
attended the Winnipeg Jets/Edmonton Oilers game the next afternoon, they picked up cousin Kain
and Will...and then went to join Cory and James at their cabin for the rest of the long weekend."
